GOVBUSHMENT BAILOUT

Sharing from my new favorite political blogger: Heather ...

I can't speak for anyone else who gives their opinions here, but I can speak for myself. I don't just talk about. I write (snail mail), email, fax, fed-ex, UPS, DSL, telephone and otherwise bug the crapola out of my representatives so they know what I think. And I get friends (some I've never met) to do the same, and so on, and so on, and so on. Trust me, we've tried other methods. Getting heard and being a pest, and being persistant does work. Otherwise, they're out of a job. This is a good system, it's just BUSHIT outta control! I'll bet you my favorite antique that somebody in that room today said something like, "...hey, are YOU ready to go to war against U.S. citizens?..."

We're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore and I'm pretty sure they know it!!! The bottom line is, there are more of us than them! We're armed and they know that too!
I sincerely understand that bailing out this bank is the quickest way to keep from economic disaster, but the BIGGER questions are
1. HOW did this happen?
2. WHO is responsible?
3. WHAT are they going to do about THAT?!?!?!?

Also, Grampa (who went through the depression) always said "The quickest way, is not always the best solution. Pain & suffering are reminders that we get lessons from. And those lessons, are the ones that seem to stick!"

SICK OF THE SHEEPLE!!!! CLICK HERE TO READ MORE!!!

People, no matter which side of the political fence they're on, each have their own opinions based on what they hear or read, and face it…most people don’t read much anymore. But, they do watch television. Unfortunately, most "news" stations are hardly more than Bush Butt Boys (some in drag). They "report" what the "administration" wants them to report, and nothing more. So much more is going on in this country that gets no press…don’t get me started! I’ll blog more on that later.

I heard a guy on TV just today say something like, "...unemployment is down, the economy is steady, there are good times ahead..." and I immediately thought, "WHAT THE FUCK PLANET DOES HE LIVE ON?"

I don't just read the American News; I pay attention to what's happening globally because for some time I've felt a gathering going on. I've discussed this with some of you and you know what I'm talking about. People are coming together, being drawn by similarities in their spiritual awareness, rocks and music seem to play a huge part, but lately, politics (of ALL things) is getting into the picture: American Politics especially.

For 8 years, Americans have been held captive by the opinions and commensurate actions of George W. Bush, et al. I am still astounded that the entire friggin' nation KNOWS he didn't win the election, but sat back down on their couches and said "OK" with their heads down. WHAT? I haven't seen such a show of complete compliance since the Warren Report! Shit, I was 14 years old then and I didn't buy that crap! Stepford comes immediately to mind.

That said, I challenge anyone reading this blog to get off your asses and vote! You unfortunately only have two choices, so make the right one. Get every non-racist person you know to register and get them to do the same, and then get out and JUST DO IT!! We absolutely MUST take our country back. The most recent request to bail out another financial firm is another scare tactic (and a pretty effective one) by all the BUSHIT!

Here’s the bottom line, it’s that or a revolution…I’ve talked about the need for another tea party for years…maybe it’s time!

San Francisco is going to name its water treatment plant the George Bush Sewage Treatment Plant to honor him . It was suggested putting the library there to so you can see and read all the shit in one place.

‘nuf said…g’night all.

Bank Bail Outs ... Click Here for more Information

I'm so sick of the news regarding this bank bail out I could just puke! Do you think people are going to finally stop following the crowd and get their own opinions out there? I'm reminded of the great Gary Larson's cartoon of a field of sheep where one stands up and says "Hey, we don't all have to be sheep!" My daughter refers to the entire nation as "sheeple" and I have to agree. However, I see hope springing ... I'm just not sure it's eternal.

When I was barely 20 years old my "husband" blew out of town without notice leaving me with a newborn and a 2 year old. I went to work two weeks after the 2nd child was born and was making $180/month ... $90 of which went to pay my rent. I had no food, no medical assistance, no car and no help. I made "too much money" to qualify for financial aid of any kind. Too much money? $180 a month? Honestly. I look back on those dark days as a period of self awakening. I figured out no one was going to help me so I worked 3 jobs for nearly a year and bought a car...got a better job...moved into a decent neighborhood and did all that WITHOUT ANY help whatsoever. I figure if I can do that, anybody can. If I were Hispanic I could have had medical insurance, financial aid, food stamps, you name it. But I'm white, American and those were the setbacks. Go figure.

If Bush bails out these financial institutions without sanctions and a payback plan, I swear, I'll move to another country. Too bad we can't all do it together. Somehow I think a mass exodus might force a little more educated pontification in these assholes, but then again... probably not.
Peace!

GREAT MUSIC!!!

Out here in North Eastern Nebraska we don't get much in the way of what I consider real music. There are plenty of live bands here, but they're "cover" bands....meaning that they play the same stuff you hear on the radio. I listen to the radio while I'm driving. That's enough commercialism for me. I prefer to hear the real deal or nothing I guess.

The music club Brent & others are trying to get off the ground here put on a show last Friday that was so much fun, I bruised the heck out of my left ankle getting my funk on a little too hard! I don't heal like I did earlier in life, and it was worth it. I'm anxious to see the next show!

Meanwhile, I just heard The Eagles are coming to Omaha in November! I MUST GO!! Tickets are outrageous, but comeon, it's THE EAGLES! It's worth the ticket price to see how anybody else can get inside after Don Henley's head arrives! LMAO!

Peace!
