Out here in North Eastern Nebraska we don't get much in the way of what I consider real music. There are plenty of live bands here, but they're "cover" bands....meaning that they play the same stuff you hear on the radio. I listen to the radio while I'm driving. That's enough commercialism for me. I prefer to hear the real deal or nothing I guess.
The music club Brent & others are trying to get off the ground here put on a show last Friday that was so much fun, I bruised the heck out of my left ankle getting my funk on a little too hard! I don't heal like I did earlier in life, and it was worth it. I'm anxious to see the next show!
Meanwhile, I just heard The Eagles are coming to Omaha in November! I MUST GO!! Tickets are outrageous, but comeon, it's THE EAGLES! It's worth the ticket price to see how anybody else can get inside after Don Henley's head arrives! LMAO!

I keep hearing about Brent's club... But where is it? What's it called? Are they open?
Chris, It's a private club, located at the Eagles downtown. The old First Edition. Next show is Oct. 18th. Tickets can be had at the door, or from any member.
Yeah, what he said ... Chris, we're members (Giles and I) so we always have 4 tickets for shows to sell usually at $5 apiece. Try and make the next show...we'll be looking for ya. Then you just might want to join!!!! Hope to see you then.
I'm not even sure where the Eagles is... I might give you a holler before the next show. Any idea who's playing?
