Every day that goes by I loose a little more. I used to pray for patience every day then I realized I had it all along. The trouble is, I keep loosing it. Mom used to say I needed to stop praying for patience since God wasn't going to give it to me in MY time, but rather, HIS. I know that to be true now.
I saw an off Broadway production of Evita last night at the Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City. Every participant in that musical was fabulous except for the woman they gave the lead role to. The nasal quality to her voice was ear piercing and annoyed me throughout the performance. Especially when she refused to sing the line "Star Quality" and shouted it instead. It was awful and really took away from the terrific performances of the other actors.
